The Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts offers Certificate, Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s Degree programs in Christian Ministry.
Certificate Program
Certificate Programs are designed to be the equivalent of a major area of study for students who choose to dual enroll in the Athens School of Ministry & Worship Arts and another college or university, but who do not wish to earn a second degree. Enrollment in Certificate Programs provides college students, lay ministry leaders, and non-degree students a thorough biblical foundation so that they become equipped to integrate Christian principles in to their chosen careers and/or to effectively engage in Christian ministry through volunteer leadership in churches and community organizations. Transfer credits are not accepted for completion of Certificate Programs.
The purpose of a Certificate in Christian Studies is to provide a thorough Biblical foundation so that students may integrate Christian principles in to their chosen careers and/or to effectively engage in Christian ministry through volunteer leadership in churches and community organizations. The CCS is not designed to fulfill specific career requirements.
Associate’s Degree Program
The purpose of an Associate’s Degree in Christian Ministry is to provide a thorough biblical foundation so that graduates may effectively engage in Christian ministry as employees of volunteer service agencies or local churches (e.g. Discipleship Coordinator). Graduates may also work under the direction of a missions-based organization.
Bachelor’s Degree Program
Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry will be equipped to effectively engage in Christian ministry as employees of volunteer service agencies, missions organizations or local churches. Students completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry will qualify for ordination and vocational ministry in many denominations and will be prepared for leadership positions in ministry-related organizations.
Master’s Degree Program
The purpose of a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry is to provide a thorough biblical foundation so that graduates may effectively engage in ministry through missions or as employees of volunteer service agencies or local churches. Students completing a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry will qualify for ordination and vocational ministry in many denominations and will be prepared for leadership positions in ministry-related organizations.
